The airports at Brookings and Gold Beach serve private planes.
United Airlines has scheduled service into Crescent City, California, just south of Brookings, with nonstop service from San Francisco, Sacramento, and Eureka/Arcata.
A Tip: There seems to be a glitch in some scheduling programs. By default, if you are flying to Crescent City from San Francisco, they will book you through Sacramento or Eureka rather than on the nonstop. The nonstop is much faster, and worth asking for.
Currently United is flying the new Brasilia commuter airplanes into Crescent City. They are nice.
A direct Portland flight is currently under discussion, as is a Medford flight.
