The Jed Smith Redwoods are on the Smith River in California, a few miles south and east of Brookings Oregon. This is near the northern limit of area in which redwoods grew naturally. The northernmost major stands are along the Chetco River.

This scene has seven nodes. As soon as the file starts downloading you can start moving around the first. Hold the mouse button down and drag to move around. Use your shift and control keys to zoom in and out.

It requires Quicktime 3, a free download.

Once the entire file has downloaded you can leap to the other nodes. When you are over a node the pointer turns into a white arrow. Click and you'll leap.

Four are in the forest, three are down by the creek.
